A really nice email from a happy customer: I recently made some purchases of honey from your very knowledgeable and friendly salesman at the Isham Saturday morning market in Manhattan. Both of the varieties I purchased were just delightful, each in its own way. They are so delicious -- the wildflower honey is great on grapefruit, toast, and in tea; while your darkest honey holds up against my oatmeal and bran concoctions. Your honey is far more flavorful and subtle than any commercial honey I have ever tasted. I hope to be a honey customer for a long, long time.

I was so pleased with your products that I went back the following week to try your Propolis Plus Skin Cream. (I should preface this by saying that although my hands become terribly cracked and dry in the winter -- sometimes to the point of bleeding -- I have never found a commercial product that I used more than once: either they just didn't work, or they were too greasy, or they smelled too sickly-sweet/nasty/awful. Admittedly, I am fussy about smell.) Anyway, I have to tell you that this is lovely stuff! It does work to prevent my skin from cracking and it smells so wonderful that I replenish it often just to get a fresh whiff! It doesn't feel greasy and it penetrates well. Aside from all of these attributes and benefits, my cats seem to approve of it mightily: Little Mouse goes to great lengths to lick it off my wrists and fingers! This is not only a wonderful skin cream, but also my favorite perfume -- and this is a significant accomplishment! So thank you for making these amazing products.

News and Comment

Well, we survived our first season with an internet store and I'm happy to say that we got everyone covered for their Holiday orders! Thanks so much for your support! This is a new kind of marketing for this guy. I'm an analog guy trapped in a digital world.Got the bees put to bed for the winter, fed and insulated in good fashion. I'm satisfied that we did everything we could to insure their survival till spring. It was a tough summer with an extended drought in our area. We did not suffer from the CCD syndrome that many of you heard about in the news. Winter losses were higher than normal in '07 due to fierce late winter cold and wind, but not from CCD.

A recent email: I just bought a 2lb. jar of linden tree honey from the stand in Union Square and I am blown away! I made myself a cup of tea and some toast, both with a healthy dollop ... and now I have no control over myself and am going to have to make another cup of tea and more toast. It's delicious - it very well may be the best honey I've ever, ever had. The guy who sold it to me was right on the money in his description of the flavor and he was also really nice. Thanks for the yummies and I look forward to running out so I can buy the next jar. ,

A recent note from one of our customers: I just thought you all should know how people feel. It's really something to experience your honey in a cup of coffee or something we baked. Plus, I'm more than grateful to you all for bringing your products to us and doing the hard work of selling, standing all day either in bitter cold or hot heat, etc. It's not easy! You're really enabling me to be a better baker, and to avoid using sugar or other less-desirable sweeteners. I'm so glad you're setting up a website! I'm glad I was able to tell you how many of us feel, Mr. Tremblay. Thank you again.
Best wishes,

- Sandy

To Tremblay Apiaries:  You are loved by the Honey-Eaters of New York! Not only are all your sales people charming, intelligent, and sweet, your honeys (each and every variety) are nuanced, tender, and overwhelmingly beautiful. What an incredible collaboration between humans, bees and flowers! Thank you. Thank you for bringing your products to us! I enjoy using your honey in coffee, in my baking, and in my cooking. I'm coming up with new ideas for recipes. You've given us a lot of creative leeway to get around using sugar.  With Gratitude and Best Wishes,

- Sandy from Forest Hills
